Israel 1940
Contemporary Art
Moshe Malka (b. 1940) creates intense images in which the colors relate to each other almost in a fireworks display. His abstract works seem like landscapes and floral portraits, but escape any concrete interpretation. What remains is the sheer joy of playing the colors, like a freely interpreted piece of music translated into the visual world of painting.
Moshe Malka studied at the "Academie Arts Graphiques" in Tel Aviv, the "Academie de eaux arts" in Jerusalem, the "École d'Arts Graphiques de Montparnasse" and the "Academie des Beaux Arts" in Paris. He works at the "Ateliers Johny Friedlander", in Paris.
Moshe Malka participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in France, the USA, Germany and Austria. The artist lives and works in Paris.
